Be advised despite the fact the website says "Lighthouse and Museum are open Memorial day to etc etc" the Lighthouse is only open 4 days a year. We were bummed about that. However the museum and grounds were lovely.
We really enjoy this lighthouse and the museum, it has a great staff that was very nice to talk to about the history of the area. There is a lot on display in the old Keeper's house and a lot about the local shipwrecks.
A great piece of the great lake lighthouses.
